| Do you see how much traffic HubSpot has been losing in that Chart? The chart is made by someone at ahrefs, using the ahrefs tool. But it’s all true. You know I’ve been teaching students how to do online marketing for a very long time now. I’ve brought incredible results and strategies (you can see more here). You will get a 4 parts series of emails where I will let you know what needs to change, so you can adapt to Google’s changes and not lose your traffic like the 4 behemoths of SEO I’ve mentioned in the email. Also: they aren’t the only ones who suffered this recent defeat. Everyone in the online world is super stressed right now by seeing HubSpot’s decline. Why? – because most people have learned Content Marketing FROM HubSpot. Does any of these recent events mean that HubSpot was wrong in what they taught and what they worked on? – No. And I will cover that soon. So:1. Was HubSpot wrong? 2. Why did they pursue a strategy that got them penalized right now? 3. Are the students who learned from Squirrly SEO’s 14 Days Journey to Better Rankings safe from this new SEO disaster? 4. What can you use to demonstrate authority for the keywords you target? 5. Keywords were their downfall, only because they chose the wrong keywords (“wrong” here will be better explained, because it wasn’t wrong until now) 6. Could you still pull off such a huge content strategy? – YES, with a multi-site approach (I will also explain) 7. Will building inner links help in any way? |
| I really hate (–no way, I LOVE it) being that “I told-you-so” person, but I told you so: Focus Pages is the only safe way of doing SEO. The Google algo leak has proven it and also this new wave of declining websites proves it. A site needs its clear focus. That’s why HubSpot lost this.
