Before
66 requests and 79 performance grade is still bad for a simple homepage.
It used to be just a few lines of text, a logo and an invitation to browse a catalogue of products.
After
This was AFTER we turned it into a full-fledged ecommerce store homepage with everything it needs: offer banners, direct access to products and to add them to cart, etc.
Improvements
👉 Performance grade jumped from 79 → 91 (C to A).
👉 Page size dropped from 7.6 MB → 0.8 MB (nearly 10x smaller).
👉 Requests were cut from 66 → 31 (down by 53%). Every request is a resource your site needs to load. Fewer requests = a faster site.
Every improvement adds up: fewer requests and lighter pages = faster load times, smoother user experience, and better chance to rank.
The Impact
The client instantly saw the difference. Their site now:
